We would like awful well to have a
good correspondent from Fairfax,
Skedee and Grayhorse. Who will be
the first to send in items?
Will Baum left yesterday forashort
visit with friends in St. Louis.
C'ool and delicious beverages served
at Bagby & Gi ant's soda fountain.
M. S. O'Neil, of Fairfax, was a
pleasant caller at this office Wednes-
day. Mr. O'Neil conducts a bakery
and confectionery, and is one of the
enterprising business men of that
rapidly growing little city.
Call at Davis' grocery store when
you want good things to eat.
For Sale-

produced 40 bushels to the acre. Leave

your town, keep your blamed mouth
shut and watch her grow.
The new law provides that teachers'

Quite a number of Ralston people
are attending court at Pawhuska,
this week.
Buy one of those lovely hammocks
from Bagby & Grant and take the
world easy.
Quite a number attended the lec-
ture at Lott's hall, Tuesday night.
Edler & Durant have installed a tel-
ephone in their law and real estate
office.

for a week or more, returned home
the last of the week.

rine & Reed are doing the work.
The Elk and Ralston saloons were
broken into Wednesday night, and
about $7 was taken from the former
saloon and something over $20 from
the latter. An entrance was made at
the Elk's by removing a window pane,
and at the Ral?*ton by cutting out a
panel of the back door. Mat Williams
is inclined to believe that it was the
work of some temperance crank, as
neither his cigars or whiskies were
molested.
Have you been in to see those love-
ly hammocks at Bagby & Grant's?
Levick & Lang finished the founda-
tion for Dr. Pingry's residence, Thurs
day. Carpenters will I e put to work
at once and the building completed
in short meter.
Ralston has never bad a boom but
a steady growth. At this writing there
are five or six houses under construc-
tion in South Ralston, several in the
west part, and p'enty of real estate
transfers in the new addition.
Dick Ingraham has fenced his yard
and planted clover, and hopes to have
a beautiful lawn in a few weeks.
Rev. J. H. Davies will soon com-
mence the erection of a neat resi-
dence in the new addition.
