Two years ago the re; iblirans found
themselves in a desperate condition
and summnoning all the disgruntled
populists th:it were mean enough to
enter into the debauching act they
nominated a candidate for congross
at the cost of *i()0, and about as
many promises. I his year Allen
gets $500 for the use of his name
aud the Voice. Its a republican
trick, perpetrated solely for the os
trangement of what populists they
enn deceive and keep from casting
their ballot for Neff, the only true
candidate put out by the populist
party of Oklahoma. The whole deal
is simple and anyone can readily see
it comes from a republican basis,
thiit, dividing tho [ populist vote it
lessens "Nell's majority," However
there is no cause for alarm as there
are only a few in Oklahoma who
know Allen is a candidate and they
have too much principle to cast a vote
for a man as rotten aud pruney as
Alleu. Stand by your party, men!

I am a candidate for County
Clerk of Cleveland county. If not
already acquainted with me, 1
quest that you investigate my fitness
for the place. The opinion prevails
throughout this county that no man
should he favored with any county
office for ten successive years when
we have scores of good citizens who
are able to do tho work equally as
well. Justice demands that you,
Mr. Wynne, retire this fall and dis
tribute your gifts. On these grounds

The Enid Wave, which has hither-
