hy-laws, and to report to the con-

Convention then adjourned to
meet at 1.30.
At the appointed time Chairman

made the following report which
was accepted and adopted ae the
constitution of the organiiaiion;
Name. This organustion shall
be known aa The Free Homes Un-
ion of Washita County, Oklahoma.
Object. The object of this or-
ganisation shall be to assist in all
tionorable ways to secure such na-
tional legislation as will lead to
the repeal of the bill which now
places a payment to the govern-
ment ot $1-50 per acre upon boms-
steads.
Officers. The officers ef this or-
ganization shall consist of a presi-
dent, vice president, secretary and
treasurer, who shall constitute an
executive committee, and shall
have power to call special meetings
and attend te the general business
of the Union.
Term of Office. The term of of-
fice for euch of the above officers
shall be one year.
