Before this issue of the Chief- h(,ga last week-
i tin reaches you, Thanksgiving;
.shall have come and gone. W
i ope all our readers spent a very
pleasant day and remembered
some one less fortunate than
then1., elves, for it is by these lit-
' le acts of kindness thatwe in-
crease our own happiness. It
matters not how little our posses-
sions may be in comparison with
those of some one else, there is
still some more unfortunate, and
if we would experience tfue joy
and a thankful heart, do some
little act of kindness for some one
the pleasant word, the kind look,
the little act of kindness will
cause a hungry soul to look up,
and see that this world is not a
bad world, and perhaps not so
selfish as they had thought arid
thus they set the wave in motion
which lengthens and broadens
into eternity. It's only the very
selfish who sit and brood over
conditions, get up, shake onLthe
wrinkles ( I discontent, think of
all the people who are less fortu-
nate than yourself, and you will
be ashamed that you had missed
so much of this beautiful life God
has given. Study the question,
why was 1 created? and get
about your business. If for hon-
or and glory, get to work: you
have already lost much valuable
time, cheer up, let the sunshine
into your own life and others
will see it and be made to look
up, and up and up to the Eternal
Son, who is shining each day a
! hanksgiviiig to all hi;! creatures
everywhere.
