The postoflice department has de-

settlement. These will he located
at the land offices.
Beau in mind that the best coun-
try in Oklahoma Territory is the
Kickapoo. It will be opened to set-
tlement soon. Tecumseh is only
three miles from it.
Ed L. Dl'nn, of El Reno, who
was appointed sheriff at Enid by
Gov. Renfrow, says, that he did not
want the office, was not suited for
it and would not accept.
Hon. L. P. Ros3, got in his work
in great shape while he was in
Washington. A number of post-
masters have been appointed in the
Territory, beside associate justice.
Foil some cause the* Guthrie Lead-
er has scratched the Herald off
its exchange list, at least there has
not a copy arrived at this office for
two weeks. We expected it from
the News but hardly from the Lead-
a warning not to stop at Norman
saying that it is the Governor's
home Greer tries to insinuate that
the Governor has had something to
do with it. Frank Greer by his
fight on Governof Renfrow and At-

as big an ass of himself as is possi-

Well, it will be many a year be-
fore a man of .lodge Green's digni-

again as an Oklahoma couit.

Goon for Oklahoma City, she has
at last been recognized by the de-

that the "ice has been broken" we
