probate judge, for 3rd quarter, 1305 ap-

Th:s being the day set for the opening ]
of bids to build sidewalk and retaining wall
as per notice, the following bids were -
opened and contract awarded.
Bid of S. W. Longest, masonry, $7
per cubic yard; ruble work, $4.50 per
cubic yard; coping and steps, 65 cejts per
lineal foot; rock exc vation, 40 cents per
yard; earth excavation, 30 cents per yard;
curbing, 40 cents per lineal toot; brick
work, 65 cents per square yard.
N. Z. Barnes, etaining wall $5 per cubic
yard, except steps; steps of Joplincut stone,
$17; curbing, 3i cents per lineal foot; side-
walk, 70 cents per square yird; this bid be-
ing incomplete and rejected for said reason
A. B. Oieson, masonry, $6 SO per cubic
yard; ruble, $4 per cubic yard; rock exca-
vation, 40 cents per yard; earth excavation,
25 cents per yard; curbing, 40 cents per
lineal foot: coping and steps, 60 cents per
lineai foot; sidewalk, 75 cents per square
yard.
The contract was then awarded to A. B.
Oieson.
In the matter of bid on the grade between
sections 10 and 11 township 14 range 6,
tbe same was continued until next meeting
of board.
( In the matter of liquor case of O. A.
Hudson the same was referred to county
attorney for legai opinion as ti the duty of
board.
In the matter of the remonstrance against
the issuance of liquor license to Lovely the
same was continued.
The board then took recess until Friday,
November 17, 1905 at 9 a. m.

bers present Amberg and Dennis. Journal
of previous meeting read and approved.
The hoard then proceeded to canvass tne

finds that there were 3,457 votes against
and votes for the proposition.
In the matter of bids on construction of

and the contract swarded.
