. Mother! No word on human lips
awakens such emotions. What fond
recollections it stirs! How her pres-
ence enriched everything! The sun
always shone a little brighter; the
birds sang a little sweeter; the flow-
ers were m little more fragant; life
was a wee bit happier when mother
was there.
How she gave her life for us! Her eyes were never closed so
lung as we needed their watchful care; her hands were never tired
or heavy so long as we needed their tender ministry; her feet were
as swift as the wings of the morning to respond to our cry; her heart
was an unfailing fountain of love and sympathy.
Sunday Schools the world over will observe Sunday May 8th
as Mothers' Day. Men and women boys and girls everywhere will
meet to honor mother. I am jealous of my home town. Why not
everyone attend Sunday School Sunday in honor of mother and
make a world's record for Ardmore? This is May. Let's crown
mother "Queen o' the May." If you do not attend any other Sunday
School you are most cordially invited to attend Broadway Baptist
