XY AND HER PALS. — Aunt Mamie's Wish Is Gratified.
I>v CLIFF STERRETT.
Bessie Clifford, pretty American
dancer now appearing in London,
was complainant against Mrs. Hat tie
Kinsler in a London police court re-
cently. Miss Clifford declared that
she was dancing in the Carlton Grill
when Mrs. Kinsler threw carbolic
acid on her dress. Mrs. Kinsler ap-
proached her table in a most threat-
ening manner, crying, "I'll ha\
your life," said Miss Clifford. "This
lady," Miss Clifford told the court,
has the idea that her husband is
paying me too much attention, which
is perfectly absurd.'
