The honeymoons have lost their
glamor; June brides are getting down i
to calmer concerns than swapping
vows; the life they live has other |
seeming than moonbeams. Stardust

eil trans. And doubtless some young
wives are Mgtimg because they know
much less of frying potatoes in a pan,
than of the works of Keats or Ibsen,
rof the art of C D Gibjaa — stitch
tuff won't feed a raw. Perhaps some
wives are nearly fainting v, lien think-
ing of the trifling painting on which
they wasted time; had thev but learn-
ed the art of broiling a porter house,
without u spoiling it till it was a
crime! Of what good use, some wives
are saying, is all our skilled piano j _
playingV Our coffee's on the blink; LOW l1 cil^S Ifl
it makes our loving husbands shiver,
and often drives them to the river to
gst a decent drink. Such vain ac-
complishments *v4 carried! And now
that we're securely married, we often
sigh and wish to swap the lore we
gained at college for just the sordid
workaday knowledge of how to cook
a fish. Perhaps some fair youug
wives are looking through heavy
works that treat, of cooking, and sigh-
ing as they gaze; perhaps they smell
the beefsteak burniDg, and think with
sorrow mixed with yearning of all
their wasted days.

DE LAVALsepaX,
ARE EASIEST TO WASH
The construction of the De Laval bowl is such that it can be
completely taken apart for washing.
The discs, bowl parts and tinware have no tubes, crevices,
holes or corrugated surfaces such as are found in other ma-
chines and which are very hard to clean.
The De Laval discs are washed as a single piece and the
whole machine can be thoroughly
CLEANED IN FIVE MINUTES
There is no part of the De Laval bowl which cannot be easily
reached and seen, so that the operator can always tell whether or
not every part has been properly cleaned.
The ease with which the De Laval can be thoroughly washed
and kept in a sanitary condition is one reason why creamerymen
prefer De Laval to other separator cream, and is likewise one of
the reasons why butter made from De Laval cream has scored
highest at the National Dairy Show for over 20 years.
