local democratic politicians today.

law creating superior courts In coun-
ties of 35,000 population is expect-
ed to pass with the emergency clause.
This will make Immediately available
offices paying >3,000 a year each for
judges, also offices for clerks and
stenographers. The first flush here
indicated that Bob" Woods had the
Job cinched, but some one passed
around the word to get busy, and
they got. At the present time Pen-
dleton, Relly, Hood, and Wood are
all there. Chanccs are aald at this
time to favor Hood.
