Convention Hall; Speakers
Are Named.
Elaborate plans including a nion-
steifc street parade and mass meeting
at Convention hall are details of the
plana which have been made for a fit-
ting observance of Memorial day In
Tulsa on May 30 by a committee ap-
pointeii at a meeting of committees
representing the Daughters of tho
American Revolution and the Spanish
war veterans.
The parade which will be held
shortly after 2 o'clock In the after-
noon of Decoration day. will be com-
posed of all military organizations in
(he city including the ambulance
company the engineer company th"

war Vetevans and civic organizations
of all kinds together with the boy

It Is also planned to Include in the
parade all decorated automobiles that

of teachers of state schools were di-
vided so they could be paid for every
month in the year nit ho teachers tiro

to limuiry from the state board of
education the attorney-general sug-
gests that the rule be suspended and
ihat the teachers in these schools ho

last meeting of the state board of
education request was made of presi-
dent of the state schools to submit
lists of the faculties recommended for
employment for the next year. Presi-
dent (Irumlilne of the Central normal
is the only one of the normal school
presidents who has complied so far.
Superintendents of the orphans' home
at i'ryor blind school at Muskogee and
the colored A. M. college at Langs-
ton have submitted their lists. They
should have all been in not later than
ten days before the next meeting of
the hoard which Is May 15.

was selected for a place on the pro-
gram thru bis Intimate knowledge of
the subject upon which lie spoke and
the latest Ideas In city planning were

W". It. Uraham one of the members
of the park hoard who attended the
conference from Tulsa declared that
several suggestions brought to the at-
tention of the delegates could be
closely followed 111 this city by the
pai k board and that n report would be
made to the entire board at the next
meeting. Aside from Mr. (Irabam and
President Farmer of the Rotary club
the following Tulsa men attended the
conference: Rav Fellows. John Hay-
den and John Mclscnhacher.
