John Beam is this week mov-
ing the residence building occu-
pied by J. N. Ross to the south
east corner of the lots. It is
rumored that J. Thomas intends

A communication has been re
ceived from the war department
asking information concerning
the number of mousquitoes and
wood ticks along the banks of
Rock Creek. It is to be inferred
that a U. 8. patrol will be sta-
tioned there—and the govern-
ment believes in preparedness.

dren came in fom Hugo Tuesday
and is visiting the family of T.

Now, on this 7th day of June,
1917, comes Susan R. Thomas
as administratrix of the estate
of Marcus D. L. Thomas, de-
ceased, and files and presents
her petition herein for the sale
of all the real estate and person
al property of said deceased for
the reasons iu the said petition
stated.
And it appearing to the Court
from an examination of the said
petition that it is necessary to
sell the whole of the real estate
and personal property described
therein and for the reasons
therein slated;
It is therefore by the Court
ordered that said petition be
heard and the same is hereby
set for hearing on Thursday,the
26th day of July, A. D. 1917,
at the hour of 2 o'clock r>- m., at
the county court room in the
Town of Talihina, LeFlore Coun-
ty, Oklahoma, at which time all
persons interested in the said
estate are hereby ordered and
required to appear and show
cause, if any they have, why an
order shall not be granted to the
said administratrix to sell so
much of the said real estate and
personal property of the deced-
ent as is necessary for the reas-
ons in said petition stated;and it
