Monday night, by horse thieves.
There were four horses and three
saddles taken. A horse and saddle
from F. Sanders, two horses and a
saddle from A. J. Stackhouse and a
horse and saddle from J. T# Speer.
The horse which was taken from Mr
Sanders,was a very tricky horse,smd
it is thought that while the rider was
off cutting the wire of a fence, it
broke loose and could not again be
caught for it waa found, next morn
itig running loose in the pasture,
with the saddle on.
The thieves came to Red Rock
from Ceres and took a saddle be-
longing to Harve Wilson in this cily
leaving in its place, one of the sad

Mrs John B Smith, near Otoe, a
