copal church to commemorate the three
hundredth anniversary of the beginning
of English speaking civilization and
Christianity i.i this country. He says

at Jamestown. Virginia.
"Through many storms and trials and
changes and chances .the church has
grown and prospered. Our forefathers
guttered and labored and we have entered

have upbuilt the state, from the earliest
day to now. have been her members.
"While we aJV relatively small-in num
mors In this new state, yet we represent"
a groat and strong body. We have much
to be deeply thankful for. We have been
greatly helped by 'the church in the older
parts of the country.
"Each man in this church in the.United
States is. individually, asked to make
a special thitnk offering to be presented
