regular session of said council, held at d
assembled at the city hall of the said city
of Guthrie, on the 1st day of March, A.
D . 1900, did order and Instruct th*' un-
dersigned mayor of the said city, to issue
with his regular proclamation for the an-
nual election to Le held at the time and
places above stated, a notice and procla-
mation calling an election, and submitting
to the qualified electors ofthe said city,
a proposition to issue the bonds of the
sal I city of Guthrie for sanitary and
health purposes to the amount of thirty-
three thousand dollars ($33,000,) payable
hirtv years from date, and drawing inter-
est at the rate of five per cent per annum,
payable semi-annually, for the purpose
of providing and constructing a system of
sewers, and for the Improvement of the
existing water works system and In-
creasing the water supply of the sa il
city of Guthrie, and that twenty-five
thousan-l do lars ($25,000) of said amount
to bo used for the construction of a sewer
system and that eight thousand dollars
($8,000) of said amount to be used for the
Improvement of tho exist ng water works
system and Increasing tho water supply
of said city.
Now. therefore, T. Ben. F. Berkey, may-
or as aforesaid, by virtue of the power
and authority, under the laws of the ter-
ritory of Oklahoma, and on act of con-
gress approved March 4. A. D., 189*. do
hereby give notice and pror aim that it
the same time anl traces of holding tfe
annual elect on for the officers a hove
named and stated in the sa'd city of Guth-
rie, an election will also be held for the
purpose of having the tax payers of the
said city vote on the proposition to Issue
the bonds of the said city of Guthrie as
above stated to provide for tho construc-
tion of a system f sewerage and for the
Improvement of the rxistlng water works
system and Increasing the water supply
of the city as aforesaid.
In addition to the names of the per-
sons to be votel for to fill the various of-
fices hereinbefore named, there shall be
printed on the t eket to be voted at that
time the following,, to-wit:
"For the issuing of municipal bonds by
the city of Guthrie in the sum of thirty-,
three thousand lollars ($33,000); twenty
five thousand dol ars ($25,000) Of the pro-
ceeds thereof when sold to be used f r the
construction of a system of sewerage, and
e ght thousand dollars ($S,000 of the pro-
ceeds thereof, when sold, to be used for
the Improvement of the exist ng water
works system, increasing the water sup-
ply of the c ty of Guthrie, for health and
sanitary purposes."
