HOMESEEKERS EXCURSION.
LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE j
HERE TO LOCATE.
Yesterday was 'the regular home-
seekers excursion train from Chicago. I
There were ten loaded passenger |
coaches and the way they stepped off j
at Guthrie looked like early days. j
Many were farmers and hod come to
visit and look «tround, some were tak-
en care of by the real estate fellows
ami some drifted up nn«n and are stop-
ping at the various hotels. They are
from every county of the states ad-
joining Chicago and the railroads gave
a special excursion rate to all desiring
to visit the west and south.
