"shame," "no nigger in school with our
children," etc., which speaks the true
sentiment of Glencoe township and
Payne county.

of the country. The old settlers will form a per-
manent organization to meet annually at Cres-
cent City.
Amusements for the enjoyment of all; vocal and
instrumental music; steam merry-go-round, base
bali and fun without end. You should not miss it.

Woodman Day
October 19
Opens with a grand parade at 10 o'clock to the
grounds. Prominent speakers have been secured
including B. S. Share, state deputy M. W. A.,
and others prominent in Woodmen circles, will
address the people on the aims and objects of the
order.
A Grand Woodman Drill will take place dur-
ing the day for which appropriate cash prizes
will be given. Every camp in the county will be
represented by a team of foresters. Other amuse-
ments to entertain all.

gress, Hon. Joseph Wisby and other prominent
speakers will address the people on the issues of
the dav.
Daily Attractions
Speaking every night by some prominent ora-
tor. A series of baseball games between two of
of the best teams in the territory. A grand pa
rade every day. Music by Campbell's jug band,
the Woodman band,Crescent City band and other
bands, besides other features too numerous to
mention. Mr. Ferguson, with his steam merry-
go-round, will add to the many amusements.
EVERYBODY INVITED
People living at a distance should bring tents
and covered wagons and be prepared to have a
gocd time and enjoy themselves to the utmost.
The committee is securing tents for all Woodman
teams and people who have to stay at the grounds.
Parties desiring stand privileges can secure the
same by writing or seeing W. D. Smith or J. H.
