The Farmer’s State Hank of New-
kirk has been chartered for Hie pur-
pose of doing a general banking busi-
ness. The term for which the corpo-
ration Is to exist is 20 years. The di-
rectors are W. s. Brown. J. C. Colum-
bia. A. A. Sclngsnii, J. 11. Coleman and
J. H. Hart, of Newkirk. The capital
stock is 910,000 in 100 shares at 91(H)
each. Messrs. Coleman and Sclosson
are experienced bankers and are now
in Kansas City to purchase fixtures
for the new bank, which will occupy
the Dilday building.
