Be it ordained by the President and
Trustees of the to vn of Lexington. Okla-
homa.
Sec. 1. For the purpose of -raising a
revenui' for said town, ail male persons
between twenty-one and fifty years of
age. who have resided thirty days within
the corporate limits of said town of Lex-
ington. Oklahoma, who are capuble of
performing labor ou the public highways,
and who are not a township or county
charge, are hereby taxed and required to
pay each year into the treasury of said
town the sum of one dollar as provided
in this ordinance.
Sec. 2. That upon demand of the town
clerk of said town upon a person liable
to said poll tax of one dollar, the same
shall be due and payable without further
notice, and if not paid upon demand as
