In Etna last Monday.
Commissioner Long of Geary, was
in Etna last Friday.
Joe Williams and family visited at
Mr. Brands last Sunday.
The South Canadian river was yery
high again last Saturday.
Fred Reed returned from Okarche
where he went to harvest.
Most of the corn around here is
getting*to big too cultivate.
Ed. Leininger was harvesting his
rye last Monday and Tuesday.
Hattie Chambers called on Mary
Leininger last Monday afternoon.
Mr. Brand is cultivating his com
, on Ed. Leininger’s place this week.
Wheat around here is going to be a
whole lot better than the farmers ex-

Mrs. Katie Leininger and sons at-
tended the Catholic church in Geary
last Sunday.
Del Wallace was seen tied to a
young ladies apron string last Sunday.
Be careful that is catching.
A. H. Board man came down to Mr.
Brands Sunday from his allotments
where he has been breaking sod.
We notice Minor Baskins going
down to Milt Harris real often lately.
We wonder if Mr. Harris is going to
raise another wind mill.
The new bridge just east of Etna is
nearly complete, then we hope to have
a better road to Geary. The roads
are nearly impossible to travel now.
We wonder where the road boss is.
We hear that a certain grass-
widower in our neighborhood says
that he is tired of keeping bachelors
hall, that is the reason he is seen go-
ing, west through Etna so often lately
I guess.
A Real Friend.
“I suffered from dyspepsia and in-
digestion for fifteen years,” says
W. T. Sturdevant of Merry Oaks, N.
C. ‘‘After I had tried many doctors
and medicines to no avail one of my
friends persuaded me to try Kodol.
It gave immediate relief I can almost
eat anything I want now and my diges-
tion is good. 1 cheerfully recommend
Kodol.” Don’t try to cure stomach
trouble by dieting. That only futher
weakens the system. You need
wholesome, strengthening food.
Kodol enables you to assimilate what
you eat by digesting it without the
stomach’s aid.—Teeter & Son.
Kodol
Dyspepsia Cure
Digests what yon eat.
This preparation contains all of the
digestants and digests all kinds o:
food. It gives instant relief and never
fails to cure. It allows you to eat al
the food you want. The most sensitive
stomachs can take it. By its use many
thousands of dyspeptics have been
cured after everything else failed. Is
unequalled for the stomach. Child-
ren with weak stomachs thrive on it.
First dose relieves. A diet unnecessary.

BRIDGE NOTICE.
There is a band of Cbristain workers
holding revivals in a tent west of the
Presbyterian church this week. The
meetings are largely attended.
8pring Fovor.
Spring fever is another name for
biliousness. It is more serious than
most people think. A torpid liver
and inactive bowels mean a poisoned
system. If neglected, serious illness
may follow such symptoms. DeWitt’s
Little Early Risers remove all danger
by stimulating the liver, opening the
bowels and cleansing tbe system of
impurities. Safelpills. Never gripe.
“I have taken DeWitt’s Little Early
Risers for torpid liver every spring
for years,” writes R. M. Everly,
Moundsville, W. Va. “They do me
more good than anything I have fever
tried.”—Teeter & Son.

‘‘One minute cough cure beats all
other medicines I ever tried for
coughs, colds, croup and throat and’
lung troubles,” says D. Scott Currin
of Loganton, Pa. One minute cough
cure is the only absolutely safe cough
remedy which acts immediately.
Mothers everywhere testify to the
good it has done their childred. Croup
is so sudden in its attacks that the
doctor often arrives too late. It
yields at once to one minute cough
cure. Pleasant to take. Children
like it. Sure for grip,- bronchitis,
coughs.—Teeter & Son.
