An Ordinance Relating tq Liquor
Dealers, Fixing the Amount of Li-
cense, and Penalty for Violation
of the Law.
He it Ordained by the President and
Hoard of Trustees of the Town of
Noble O. T.
Skc. 1. It shall be unlawful for
any person or persons, association,
tinn, co-partnership or corporation to
engage in the business 01 • seiling in-
toxicating liquors at, wholesale or re-
tail within the corporate limits 01 the
town of Nobie, O. T , or wi hiu two
miles of the boundry lines tiiereof,
without lir t having made app.ieation
and obtained a license thereior from
the President and Hoard of . Trustees
of said town of Noble.
Sec v. Any person or persons, linn
co-partnership, or corporation desir-
ing to engage in the business of seil-
ing intoxicating liquors at retail with-
in the town of Aonie, or within two
miles of the corporate 1. in its thereof
snail first present his 01 their applica-
tion for a license to tne I'resiueui and
Hoard of Trustees of said wwu, which
shall state the tune when he or they
de*ire to commence said business and
the lot a d biocii in said town on
which it is proposed to conduct such
ousi less. Sujii licence shall not be is-
sued for a period greater than one
year nor for iess than six inontns (pay-
able quarterly in advance) and shall
in all cases terminate with the licence
issued by the Hjard of County Com-
missioners of Cleveland county to said
applicant, and snail be at the raie of
two hundred dollars per annum. If
upon the present,at 10u of me applica
tion as aforesaid it, sha I satisfactorily
appear to said President of tiie Hoard
of Trustees that said applicant has
complied with ttie provisions of Chap-
ter 4("of the statutes of oklahoma, a-
mended by the act, of the Territorial
Assembly, passed and approved .darch

applcaut to the treasurer of said town
ot the amount of .-aid quarterly in-
stallment. aud the prese 1 cation of the
treasurers receipt, thereof to the clerk
of said town, said clerk shall issue to
said applieaut a license, under the cor-
porate seal of saiil town, permitting
said applicant to sell intoxicating
liquors at retail within the corporate
limits, or within two miles of the cor-
porate limits of said town, upon the
premises describe! in said application.
Said license shall run from the first
day of the quarter iu which the same
is issued, and up >n the failure to pay
any quarterly installment within live
days after the same becomes due and
payable such licen e shall stand revok-
ed and cancelled.
Stic 3. The license provided here-
in shall be signed by the President
and Hoard of Trustees of the town o
Noble, anil attested by the cleric under
the seal of said town; it shall state the
date of said license, the name of the
applicant, the time which the same is
to run and the lot and block upon
which the business is to b > conducted
