Hennessey Teachers Visit the Enid
School.
The Hennessey school board
recently offered to give a day's
vacation to the teachers in our
public schools, if they would make
a visit to the schools of some
neighboring city.
All of the teachers took advan-
tage of the offer and last Friday
went to Enid to visit the school s
and take observations as to their
methods of teaching. They took
the Enid teachers unawares and
gave them no notice, consequent-
ly they found the schools pursu-
ing their regular daily programs
without any thought of "fancy
fizins," which might have been
tempted to do if they had expect-
ed company.
The teachers were well pleased
at the receptioo they received.
The teachers visited the same
grade of school which they teach
at home, and refer to the Enid
schools in very complimentary
terms. Altogether it was a day
well spent in the interest of the
Hennessey schools.
