Texas seeks an injunction to prevent
the Postal Telegraph Cable company

A temporary restraining order wa3
received by the Texas company some
time ago. A demurrer to their peti-

filed by the local company, which
was overruled by Judge Clark this
morning, simply for the purpose of
bringing the case to issue, an answer
being filed immediately by the de-

In Its answer, the local company de-
nies that the plaintiff company has
been operating In the state for eigat
years, or for more than four years.
It also denies that the business of
' the plaintiff is profi able, or that its
gross income amounts to $3,000 per

companies in the United States.
The Texas company is represented
