According to a Spokane Washing-
ton paper tho gold and allrer mines
ot that stato will when developed
equal If uot exceed in wealth those
of Colorado. Tho "Republic Big Six"
a mine located near Spokane is re-
ported to contain an almost fabulous
amount of ore. It was recently bought
by Charles White of Omaha known to
some Guthrie people C. 8 Blbbins and
U. P. Palmer and work began to de-
velop it and in less than trro months a
vein of extraordinary richness was
struck. Already so the paper says
therein oro enough In sight to mako
each of the owners wealthy. Govern-
or Mackintosh and a British syndicate
have offered several hundred thous-
and dollsrs for the mine but the offer
has been declined.
