MISS KULHALL'd MULE.

Early In tbe campaign Miss Agnes
Muihall made a wager of a 8000 race
horse against a mule without a pedi-
gree that Dennis Flynn wamld be
elected to congress. Mlts Muihall gave
the matter no further thought inas-
much as the stakta were of such small
amount but was surprised a few days
after the election on being informed
that "her mule" was in tbe barn
The gentleman losing the wager
promptly delivered to Miss Muihall the
property fairly won. It U rumored
that tbe mule Is to be transported to
Outhrle to e presented to a mm who
Is not possessed with a mill. on. nd it
will be his duty to see that tho mule
does not suffer for the necessaries of
this life. Tho man soon to be honored
with mob - gift from Miss Muihall is
now negotiating for a deg to keep tk

There is hardly a doubt as Inti-
mated In the Leadbii Saturday that
the woman representing herself as
Miss Katherino Frlnltt or Schwints at
Oklahoma Clty.JIs a rank adventuress.
In speaking of her the I.kadkk made
the statement that her story as re-
lated in the Capital of this alty con-
tained so many improbable statements
as to stamp it with fraud ami the
woiuau as nn impostor and that no
thoughtful person could read it with-
out arriving at the same conclusion.
This is confirmed by telegrams from
llreokenrldge Mo giving an account
of a Miss Catherine Kintz of that
place who. it is said tallies well with
the description ot the Oklahoma City
woman. The last place before coming
to Uklahoma whero she successfully
played her role was at Camden Mo.

and while there she was neither deaf
nor dumb. From the description given
of her In the papers th Lcadku has
no doubt that she Is the Bame young

Tho account of tbe woiuau's doings
given in the Denver Post and other
Colorado papers at thu time she was
playing that statu wero r cry similar
to tho accounts given of her aclloui at
Ok'ahoma City. In Colorado she was
always on the way to some place to be
at the bedside of a 1I3 Ing mother or to
attend the funeral of a dead brother
and had b:cu robbed or by accldont
had lost her baggage luonoy and rail-
road ticket. These facts so nearly
tally with her lament at Oklahoma
City ab to leave little doubt that they
are one and the same woman. Tho
Colorado woman p'ayed iho racket of
deaf mute until by accident she was
found out when the fact was disclosed
that she not only had a tongue lasher
in her mouth but was possessed of a
most acute pair of earn. Her age deaf
and dumb racket apparent shrinking
from notovitty with the fact that she
claimed soinowhero in Missouri as her
