Funeral for Glen Dale Mosley,
66, Chickasha, will be held at 2
p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 1998,
in the Chapel of Ferguson Funeral
Home. Rev. John Freeman of the
Southern Hills Baptist Church will
officiate and Rev. Larry Hatfield of
the Grand Avenue Assembly of
God Church will be assisting.
He was born March 24, 1931, in
Rush Springs, the son of J.G.
Mosley and Lauroma Randolph
Mosley. He died Monday, March 9,
1998, in Chickasha.
Glen came to the Chickasha area
as a child with his parents and at-
tended Chickasha Public Schools,
graduating from Chickasha High
School in 1949. He played football
while in high school and was a
member of the Chickasha High
School Football Team of 1948,
going to the state playoffs.
He attended Panhandle State
College in Alva for a time and
joined the United States Air Force
in 1951.
After serving in the U.S. Air
Force' from January, 1951, until
January, 1954, he returned to
Chickasha and became employed in
the oil fields. He was employed
with Parker Drilling for 35 years,
working in many areas of the field.
He had worked in several areas,
including Africa, Alaska, Nevada
and Wyoming. He retired in 1990
as Operation Director of 10 oil rigs,
North Slope, Alaska.
Glen had attended the Baptist
Church.
He was preceded in death by his
father and one son, Wayne Mosley.
Survivors include his mother,
Lauroma Mosley, of Chickasha;
three daughters and a son-in-law,
Vickie Chaney, Darla and Mike El-
lis, all of Chickasha, and Jackie
Mosley of Anchorage, Alaska; one
son, Jimmy Glen Mosley of
