j SPECIAL PRICES FOR BIG BLOCKS
Uvalde Leases Are Selling — Investors Now A Good Thing
The Western Oil Derrick has acquired a block of leases in Uvalde County, Texas, aggregating 7,000 acres. Only
1,500 acres are offered for sale to aid in development.
5,500 acres will be held to be marketed next winter when the big oil companies will clamor for this stuff at
prices ranging from $100 to $1,000 an acre.
Wise geologists have picked Uvalde County as the next big oil pool of South Texas. Our acreage is on the Edward
Plateau. Big companies are drilling around us. Look at the map and see what is taking place in Uvalde County. A
gusher may come in any day. When one does, then all this acreage is withdrawn from the market.
\/
Uvalde County
The Rip Companies, NOT the promoters,
are exploiting this section wit|i the confident
expectation of finding another big oil pool.
The Big Company geologists have select-
ed certain parts of Uvalde county as most
favorable for the discovery of new pools. On
their recommendations the Transcontinental,
Empire, Benedum and Trees, Roxana, Carter,
Bell, Century and National Oil companies
have acquired large holdings in Uvalde county,
and extensive drilling operations by these big
companies have been under way for several
months past, in spite of freight congestion
and inclement weather.
Our Uvalde county acreage is WEDGED
IN BETWEEN THE DRILLING BLOCKS
of the Transcontinental, Roxana, Benedum
and Trees, Carter and other big companies
above mentioned.
Our Uvalde acreage was SELECTED ON
THE SAME STRUCTURE as the holdings
of these big companies, by the head lease man
of one of these companies, who had the PICK
OE THE COUNTRY when he acquired these,
valuable holdings, FIFTEEN MONTHS AGO.
Our Uvalde county lrascs are the ONLY
DESIRABLE OIL ACREAGE in Uvalde
county not included in the holdings of the big
companies. This acreage was selected by an
expert lease man because IT LOOKS LIKE
OIL LAND, and his judgment is endorsed by
these big companies that are spending hun-
dreds of thousands of dollars backing their
judgment in Uvalde county.
Several of the wells now drilling in Uvalde
county are at the CRITICAL STAGE. When-
ANYONE of these wells comes in a GUSHER
all leases will either be withdrawn from the
market or immediately soar in price beyond
the means of the ordinary individual.
In anticipation of the finding of a big oil
pool in Northern Uvalde county, arrange-
ments have already been perfected for the
construction of a line of railroad from Uvalde,
the county ^eat, north into the territory
WHICH THE GEOLOGISTS HAVE SE-
LECTED AS THE NEXT BIG OIL FIELD,
and this is the section where we acquired our
oil leases.
For these various reasons, we are OFFER-
ING FOR SALE onlv a SMALL PART OF
OUR UVALDE COUNTY HOLDINGS.
There is already shallow oil in Uvalde
County, and Geologists agree that THERE IS
ALSO A DEEP POOL in that section, which
the Big Companies are now spending im-
mense sums to locate
UVALDE COUNTY, WHERE WELLS ARE BEING DRILLED BY SOME OF THE
