Santa Fe (ATSF) 3106

Description: A photograph print showing Santa Fe (ATSF) 3106, 2-8-2, on southbound freight extra, south of Chilocco, OK, 37 cars. It was one of 29 locomotives built for ATSF in 1913 and numbered 3100 to 3128. They were called "little 3100's" to distinguish them from the rest of the series beginning with 3129. Nearly all the littel 3100s lasted until ATSF steam locomotives were scrapped 1952-1955.
