Description: Caption says, "A-57 Altus Project. Office of the Altus Compress with compress showing in the background. Left to right is Mr. Lloyd Rooker, Superintendent and Mr. Ray Vorhies, Cashier of the Altus Compress. The compress is owned by Mr. M. A. Joy. It was built in 1929. The total area owned consists of 40 acres, 13 acres are under construction. The compress is of 100 bales per hour capacity. Storage space will accommodate 16,500 bales."
