Photograph of Leroy (Buck) Barnett on farm. Although he had tried every year for seven years he had bee on the place he had not been able to make a crop on the 12 acres of bottomland. Each year floods wiped out his efforts. However, this time his crop of corn was undamaged in spite of the 15 inch rainfall of May 10-11. His field is immediately below Dam 5 on Owl Creek.
