Description: Photograph of a cut stream bank on highway 77, created in January 1958, with no attempt made to control erosion. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Stream bank cut on Highway 77, 3 to 1 slope. Bank cut with no attempt made to control erosion. Cut made in Jan. 1958. Erosion of bank has started with an estimated 6" of rainfall to date. With normal rainfall erosion will be much greater. Soil Unit 9."
