Description: Photograph of an UNIDENTIFED man standing on the top of the lower end of a discharge pipe located on the Noakes Detention Dam. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Lower end of discharge pipe. Water flowing 4 inches in pipe 130 hours after water began flowing in discharge pipe. This is small detention dam on Noakes farm. Drainage area above dam 235 acres, 5 1/2" rain fell night of May 17."

Interplanted Pines

Description: Photograph of showing good pine tree reproduction in 50-acre area which was release cut in Aug, 1950. Openings were created by girdling all oak six or more inches in diameter and by cutting or deadening smaller hardwood and brush. Pine trees are shorleaf and loblolly.
