Wildhorse Watershed Waterway

Description: Photograph of waterway. This gully was a critical silt source area on the flood plain of Wildhorse Watershed. Gully was shaped into a watersay and a pond was built at the head of it with a pipe in it (Ok-14131-3 & 4). Waterway will be needed this fall and sprigged with rows 18' apart, and fertilized. Soil is 7s-C-13.

Wildhorse Watershed

Description: Photograph of site 33, Wildhorse Watershed. C. J. Beavers, owner of this site, has sold $20,000 of water to oil companies for drilling purposes in last 2 1/2 years. He also watered neighbors' cattle from this site during drought years of '52, '53, and '54. This site was completed in 1950. Oil wells in this field have a spacing of 10 acres each. Wells ther were to be drilled in sediment pool were spaced on the edge of water and whipstocked under the pool.

Lake Humphries Dam Fertilizer Application

It was decided that the dam and spillways of existing structures owned by the city of Duncan need an application of fertilizer. In picture is city employee spreading 44% of nitrate on bermuda grass sods.
