Part of the mile segment of the street that had been in a city assessment district was removed recently when adjacent property owners placed money in ecrow and proceeded with private paving contracts. The street will be a uniform 36 feet wide from Cornwell Road to Eleventh Street."

The crew worked one block at a time so as not to disrupt traffic."
