Caption: "Summer drouth has lowered Lake Hefner almost 6 1/2 feet from the high point of the year last June 18, when the lake was 9 feet from the full mark. On the brighter side, however, the lake is still 123 feet higher than at this time last year. The drop in the lake level has forced boats out of the waterless stalls is the municipal boat harbor and onto the beach, above, just outside the harbor."
