Description: Photograph of R. A. Deaker, farm foreman, sitting on his horse in a knee-deep filed of yellow blossom sweet clover which has been phosphated. This field will be cut in for soil building and followed with corn of grain sorghum. The phosphate was applied at a rate of 150 pounds to the acre. Phosphated clover clipped 11 tons per acre--unphosphated clover clipped at 2 1/2 tons per acre. TX-42-584.
