Description: Photograph of a channel-type terrace construction using 4 foot Fresno Scraper with a 3-mule team. The dirt from the third plowing of the channel has been moved into the ridge. Note in the completed terrace the broad flat channel and easy slopes on the ridge. Channel cross sectional area is 16.5 square feet and its effective height is 1.6 ft. OK-8344-N.
