Field of Sericea Lespedeza

Description: Photograph of a field of Sericea Lespedeza used as a soil builder on soil bank land. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Sericea Lespedeza. Being used as soil builder on Soil Bank Land. James was not ready to go to pasture and land was still suitable for cultivation as mapped by SCS Soils technicians. After a period of years this land will be returned to production of grain and fiber crops or maintained as Sericea meadow for Hickman's cow herd."
