Area selected for root harvest is free from weeds, excessive top growth, debris and rocks that would interfere with sodding operations. Tight soil is not too good for harvesting roots, as more work is needed to remove them from the soil. Chester Fry, Range Conservationist, is operating the equipment. OK-214-1.
