Description: Photograph of sorghum planted for non-competitive cover in preparation for seeding to side oats grama that will be drilled in the early spring [of 1945]. Sorghum was planted after harvesting small grains. Sideoats grama will be sown with native grass seed drilled in 36 inch rows and cultivated for seed production. Seed will be made available to co-operators in the Upper Washita Soil Conservation District. OK-8933.
