Description: Photograph of Arbuckle Soil and Water Conservation District [SWCD] harvesting Bermuda grass roots. This field, sprigged in 1959 has been heavily grazed for the past two years. The area harvested, at this time, produced enough sprigs to plant 20 acres. Area is approximately 165 feet long and 45 feet wide. Approximately 10 bushels of roots are being planted per acre. OK-1333-12.

T. L. Davis Shredding Lovegrass

Description: Photograph of T. L. Davis using a tractor to shred 13-year-old lovegrass. The back of the photograph proclaims, "T. L. Davis shredding 13 year old lovegrass. Mr. Tims fertilizes in February with 100 lbs. of 16-20-0 fertilizer per acre and shreds the lovegrass in March. This makes the lovegrass more palatable to livestock. Proper management of weeping lovegrass."
