Description: Photograph of an excellent crop of Kafir corn on contour in former 5 acre area of severely gullied natural draw where owner had never made a crop. An erosion control dam was constructed across the deaw in 1937 and in two years the land was producing crops. To date the draw has silted in approximately 5 feet says Mr. Lucas.
