He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces at birth and has now grown to a healthy 23 1/2 pounds. He keeps busy with his pet dog, Sugar, and a brother, michael, improving his walking abilities and adding to his vocabulary wich now consists of "Mama" and "Daddy."

In spite of the protests of the county attorney's office, Andrew McGinnis, known better as "Black Gold," won a new trial Friday when a district judge set aside his five-year prison sentence and set him free on his own bond. McGinnis, Bristow native who made his living during recent years in a carnival boxing ring and doing odd jobs, was convicted of the robbery of Mrs. Dorothy McCoy, city. Her husband, George Harrison McCoy, now serving a 30-year murder sentence of his own in Texas, allegedly framed McGinnis in the robbery accusation. District Judge Clarence Mills set aside the sentence and ordered retrial due to McCoy's involvement."
