Reporter Tries A reporter and photographer "hitched a ride" in the revolving cockpit to see what's up, but found "up" to be an elusive condition. Dr. William E. Collins, chairman of the psycholoical laboratory and disorientation research studies, explained that there are three chambers within the ear that are suppose to give the brain messages that enable a person to keep his balance and to perform various functions.
