At Stonewall, Pontotoc county, Eldon Edward Jones, 10, was killed when he picked up a high voltage wire blown down by high winds near his home. Twister Hits at 1:57 p.m. Mrs. W. W. Lee, telephone operator at Meridian, population 187, Lagon county, said a tornado entered the town from the soutthwest at exactly 1:57 p.m. The time was fixed by electric clocks which stopped when the lines were blown down. Mrs. Margaret Beland, who with her husband, John, operates the Meridian bank, said she watched the twister approach. And they started for the storm cellar."
