One man was killed outright and the others died of burns suffered when subsequent wxplosions overtook them trying to rescue men burned by the first blast. Of a battery of pressure tanks in the plant, one was huled 100 yards into the refinery yard. Smoke and flame seen in the picture is from a brush fire started by the explosions."
