Description: Photograph of flood damage caused by overflow waters of Cottonwood Creek. Over 5 blocks of Highway # 33 in Guthrie, Oklahoma were covered by water for 12 hours, causing approx. 100 families to leave their houses. Enormous damage was done to crops, soils, highways and bridges and other public and private property. Buildings on the left belong to the Mid-Continental Petroleum Company and tracks of the railroad spur and yards in the background. OK-8327.

Enormous damage was done to crops, soils, highways, bridges and other public and private property. Buildings on the left belong to the Mid-Continent Petroleum Company and tracks of the railroadf spur line are completely covered by water. Note flooded homes and yards in background.
