Description: Caption says, "5-AL-1155. Crops. Pre-cooling cars of Oklahoma-grown potatoes in the Frisco Railway yards at Altus, Oklahoma, before shipment to market. Mechanical refrigeration is used in the cooling unites, and potatoes are cooled to a temperature of from 42 to 46 degress Fahrenheit. Cars are later iced in transit."
