Caption says, "5-AL-1136. Weed Control. View of Altus Canal, looking upstream from bridge at Mile 9.2, showing effects of 2,4-D spray on inside slopes. Good control on right bank. Only partial control on left bank due to chemical being washed off by rain a few hours after being applied. Spray did not reach to bottoms of slopes."
