Dedicated to the Memory of
Theodore Roosevelt.
We often heard that ghosts
could walk.
We never heasd that ghosts
could talk.
But one has done so. Recenly the
veil of darknessc cleared away for a
brief time out in New Mexico and
vision of one who once was , came
to view, just as plain as day!
just as he was in plain life talking one
thing Dut meaning another.
Just like he did when he was a
live and helped the Steel Trust gob-
ble the Tennessee Coal and Iron Co.
Just like he did when he made the
deal with "My dear Mr. Harriman"
to allow the consolidation of the Pa-
cific Railroads destroymg competition
bleeding the shipping public, in
exchange for a fiew million dollars
for a Roosevelc campanign fund.
-That's the time he called Alton B.
Parker a liar.- Just like he did when
he talked socialism at Ossa-
watomie, Kansas, to tickle the
insurgents and within ten days wrote
a stand-pat, Morgan-Rockefeller plat-
form at Saratoga New York; just as
he fooled the people hundreds of tim
es. Ah! Theodore you only shot one
or two Spaniards in the back-But you
shot every honest Americian citizen
in the back, just when they loved you
so and trusted you with a blind faith
that it was cruel to betray. But you
are gone now. That gallant Texan,
Martin Littleton, on Nov. eighth
charged right up to your own door at
Lobster Bay and caused truth to
triumph over deception.
Theodore, '"e are glad you roast-
ed us. There is good hope for our
standing among honest people when
they are certain we do not belong in
your class.
By the Way Theodore, as long
as you stand on the corporation-made
constitution of New Mexico for your
platform ar.d charge us with being
one who helped write such state con-
stitutions as Oklahoma and Arizona
have , we accept vour gage of battle
and would welcoipe you back to lif e
that we might again drive you to such
desperation that you would use half
million dollars of goverment money
and make war on women and children
to injure a man whom you could
not destroy. Compare records,
Theodore, if you will.
We served the people, and when
our term of office ended we have
gone to legitimate work to earn a
living.
You held, office proved a traitor
to every honest citizen and now you
get an income -is it Fifty Thousand
Dollars a Year?-for serving the special
interest class who own the magazine.
In a spirit of homor we understand
they call it an associate editors's
salary.
Keep still Theodore the deader
you are the morelikihood of sympathy
outweighing disgust- New State
Tribune.

Cardui
The
Woman's Tonic
Mrs. Grace Fortner, of Man, W. Va., took Cardui.
This is what she says about it: "I was so weak and
nervous, I could not bear to have anyone near me. I had
fainting spells, and I lost flesh every day. The first dose
of Cardui helped me. Now, I am entirely curcd of the
fainting spells, and I cannot say enough for Cardui, for I
know It saved my life." It is the best tonic for women
Do you suffer from any of the pains peculiar to women?
Take Cardui. It will help you. Ask your druggist.

Are You Nervous?
What makes you nervous? It is the weakness of your
womanly constitution, which cannot stand the strain of the
hard work you do. As a result, you break down, and ruin
your entire nervous system. Don't keep this up! Take
Cardui, the woman's tonic. Cardui is made from purely
vegetable ingredients. It acts gently on the womanly organs,
and helps them to do their proper work. It relieves pain
and restores health, in a natural manner, by going to the
source of the trouble and building up the bodily strength.
